Wayne is a small, mixed-breed dog, who is around 6 years old. He is friendly and gentle and gets on well with people.
Wayne was found on the street in a local village and brought to K9. He was adopted by his rescuer but Wayne could not get along with the other dog in the family and, sadly after much efforts to make it work, Wayne had to come back to the refuge. He has such a gentle, calm and sweet-nature and would be a most loving companion in a calm and quiet home with no other dogs.
On arrival at K9, Wayne tested positive for heartworm but he has now been treated and has made a full recovery. He also has a spine condition which means that it is painful for him to walk so he takes only toilet walks for now. Wayne will have an operation to help this soon and K9 will arrange this. All Wayne needs is lots of love and attention and he has lots of this in his foster home. However, he desperately needs a forever home and family.
If you can offer Wayne a loving, safe and secure home please contact us or come along and visit us any day of the week.
