I’m Cho. I’m around five years old and have been here at the refuge for 2 and a half years. I was found wandering the streets in a village to the east of K9. I got lost you see and couldn’t find my way home. I expected my family to come and find me but they never did. I don’t know why. I try not to be too sad about that now – I’m quite a resilient chap and well, you know, life is short and you have to make the best of it.
My people here say I’m such a character. I wasn’t sure at first if that was a good or a bad thing! But they tell me they mean I’m quite an individual dog – a cheeky lad with lots of life and spirit, who makes a good impression on everyone. I’m glad about that. Certainly I like to have as much fun as I can. I can get a little overwhelmed and snap in an excited way if I get a sudden fright. This happens very rarely though and my K9 people say there are lots of peaceful, calm homes where I’d never need to feel frightened. I’m sure they are right – they usually are. I’ll keep positive anyway. In the meantime, I’d love if you would be my sponsor buddy.
