02/02/2017 Erik is going to Italy to an experienced foster home where he will be gently rehabilitated.😊 Then, when he is ready, on to his forever home.😊
Erik is a large Podenco dog, around 18 months old.
Left overnight at the refuge, Erik was extremely thin, in poor condition and very scared on arrival in late November. However, he has now put some weight on and his general health is improving greatly. Erik’s lovely character is now coming to the fore. He loves to play, enjoys his walks and gets on very well with other dogs.
It will be a little time until Erik is ready for adoption. Details will be updated here as his health and strength continue to improve.
